Developed as the “Next-Generation” of the original Boeing 737 type, this late 90s modification was intended to increase fuel capacity, carry more weight, and increase range.

Developed as the “Next-Generation” of the original Boeing 737 type, this late 90s modification was intended to increase fuel capacity, carry more weight, and increase range. It also led to more passengers onboard and better interior configurations. This generation begun test flights in 1997, with production commencing by the end of the year.

The typical 737-600 has capacity for up to 108-123 passengers onboard in various configurations, with range around 3,700 miles. The type is powered by two CFM International CFM-56 engines generating a combined 54,000 lbs of thrust, permitting an altitude ceiling of 41,000 ft, cruising speed of 516 mph and a maximum weight of 144,500 lbs.

Representing one of the last remaining icons of late 20th century aviation, Westjet has finally begun to retire it’s 737-600s from its fleet by 2021. Of the 13 on hand, several are now being used to repair other types, with one being refinished with a new interior as a homage to the past. It features a vibrant livery under the registration C-GWSL, with a bright blue tail and Canadian flag on the fuselage. Die-Cast version has an accurate Westjet paint scheme, etched panel lines, pad-printed decals, and detailed landing gear for display. Measures 3.25”l with a 3.5” wingspan at 1:400 scale.

  • Features etched panel lines, pad printed decals, and accurate livery of C-GWSL in WestJet service.
  • Includes pre-installed detailed landing gear that replicates the true 737-600 suspension setup.
  • Small antennas and surface detailing has been carefully replicated to reflect the true airliner’s design.
  • Measures 3.25”l with a 3.5” wingspan at 1:400 scale
  • Highly collectable and officially licensed.
