Training the best for America’s defense! The North American T-28C Trojan was built for training a new generation of Navy pilots.

Training the best for America’s defense! The North American T-28C Trojan was built for training a new generation of Navy pilots. MotoArt has the honor of preserving one of these amazing aircraft. T-28C #140597 was accepted by the Navy in December 1956 and served mainly with Training Squadrons Two (VT-2) and Three (VT-3) at NAS Whiting Field. T-28s were used to instruct students in all facets of naval aviation – from radio instruments to air-to-air gunnery to advanced flight maneuvers like aerobatics, instrument flying, formation flying and aircraft carrier operations. In 1968, at the high point of the Vietnam War, VT-3 had 174 instructors and 162 T-28s flying nearly 110,000 instructional hours, setting a record for any training squadron in Naval Air Training history. Each is an individual piece of art, with variations and imperfections that are not product flaws, they are part of the beauty of PlaneTags. Caution: Not recommended for children under 8 years of age. This product contains chemical-based paint which may cause respiratory irritation if ingested or inhaled in large quantities. Keep out of mouth.
