This high quality 1:144 scale collector series Die-Cast Model is the exact replica of the P-61 Lady in the Dark flown by Maj. Lee Kendall of the 548th NFS, in 1945. Introduced in 1944, the P-61 was the first operational U.S. military aircraft specifically designed to use radar technology. On August 14, 1945, a P-61 named Lady in the Dark took down a Japanese Tojo and has been credited as the last confirmed kill in WWII.
