This Pratt & Whitney Exhaust Cylinder is an authentic Cylinder used on a Pratt & Whitney R-4360 Wasp Major engine, an American 28-cylinder four-row radial piston aircraft engine designed and built during WWII. Used to power 28 different WWII and Cold War Aircraft, including the B-36 (which had 6 engines and 168 cylinders), the B-50 (which had 4 engines and 112 cylinders), the Northrup Flying Wing, and even the famous Spruce Goose had 8 engines with a total of 224 cylinders. Please note; the Cylinders have been used on a real aircraft engine so there will be blemishes with oil stains and residue on each Cylinder; no two are alike. Cylinders measure 18”w x 15.5”h x 9.5” thick and weigh 43 lbs.
