Theodore "Dutch" Van Kirk was the navigator and Lt. Morris Jeppson was the weapons test officer on the Enola Gay. Van Kirk had been a part of Col. Tibbets’ B-17 Flying Fortress crew in Europe, and Jeppson was the mission specialist who removed the safety plugs on Little Boy just before reaching the target area. This 8”w x 10”h photo of the Enola Gay has been personally signed by Capt. “Dutch” Van Kirk and is matted in a handsome black frame accompanied by an actual piece of B-29 metal recovered from a restoration project. Includes a Certificate of Authenticity. Measures about 13”w x 16”h.
