Developed in the 1970s by Lockheed Martin as a single engine, multirole combat fighter for the USAF, the F-16 was immediately received with high praise.

Developed in the 1970s by Lockheed Martin as a single engine, multirole combat fighter for the USAF, the F-16 was immediately received with high praise. Incorporating an aerodynamically unstable configuration and fly-by-wire control system, the advanced jet was prepared to take on even the most powerful adversaries. Since 1973, over 4,600 of the type have been manufactured, with modern variants still in service across the globe.

This jet was not just one of the first to take on new attributes, it was the pioneer of new technologies. The F-16 was the first fighter jet to have direct hydraulic or electronic control surfaces, the first aerodynamically unstable aircraft to see production, and one of the fastest single engine aircraft in the world. It also boasted an extreme power to weight ratio and excellent maneuvering G-Force limits even with fuel and weapons onboard. Each F-16 had 6 underwing pylons, 3 underbody pylons for sensors and fuel, and 2 wingtip launchers for air-to-air missiles. Across these configurations, a maximum of 6 air-to-air missiles or 4 pylons of ground ordinance can be carried, with up to 3 fuel tanks depending on the combat loadout. Additionally, an internal M61 Vulcan 20mm Gatling gun with 512 rounds of ammunition is placed in the left side of the front fuselage, necessary for close in combat.

Known as “Four of a Kind” with registration #6666, this F-16 ‘V’ block 70 variant is the most advanced development of the program. Upgraded with an improved systems computer, off-the-shelf avionics controls, and high-capacity datalink transmission, it is the ultimate Fighting Falcon to grace the skies. Painted with the bright yellow primer coat from the factory, this F-16 is ready to take on a new livery for the Hualien 401st Tactical Wing. Die-Cast version features engraved panel lines, pad printed decals, authentic livery, and accurate attachable weaponry or fuel tanks. Also includes optional landing gear and display stand to show the aircraft in flight. Measures 8.25” in length with a 5.25" wingspan at 1:72 scale.

  • Features a high-quality paint scheme, etched panel lines and pad printed decals that reflect the yellow primer coat of pre-delivery F-16s.
  • Antennas, reflective lights, and surface details have been carefully added to the model.
  • Includes deployed or retracted landing gear and display stand to show the aircraft in flight.
  • Comes with attachable external fuel tank that press-fits into place and optional AIM-9X air-to-air missiles.
  • Measures 8.25”l with a 5.25" wingspan at 1:72 Scale.
  • Highly collectible and officially licensed.
