Intended for defense of the US Navy’s carrier fleet, the F-14 Tomcat was high endurance, adaptable, and capable fighter for air superiority above enemy waters.

Intended for defense of the US Navy’s carrier fleet, the F-14 Tomcat was high endurance, adaptable, and capable fighter for air superiority above enemy waters. It featured new “Fox 3” active-radar missiles, variable sweep wings, and advanced flight controls which automatically tailored the jet to its flight envelope. It would fly into the books as a legendary interceptor and multi-role fighter alike, helped especially by its feature in the 1986 movie; Top Gun.

Designed with speed in mind, the variable sweep permitted both low-drag and high maneuverability in one complete package. The wings would come all the way out for low-speed handling, or sweep completely back to 68 degrees for maximum acceleration. Combined with the low-bypass Pratt & Whitney TF-30 engines, the F-14 could attain beyond Mach 1 at sea level, and reach over 2.3 times the speed of sound at high altitude. Combine this kinetic prowess with the powerful AN/AWG-9 Pulse-Doppler radar unit in the nose and AIM-54 Pheonix active-radar missiles, and you have one of the best fleet-defense interceptors to grace the skies.

Commemorating the final flights of the F-14 Tomcat, this aircraft carries the markings of the VF-31 “Tomcatters” squadron and the nickname “Felix 100” from its crew. Decorated with yellow accents and the “Bomb Cat” character on the tail, this beloved fighter flies on in the history books, well known for its accomplishments of the past. Die-Cast version has an accurate paint scheme, etched panel lines, pad printed decals, opening canopy, and display stand to show the model in flight. Also includes a full set of press-fit weaponry, optional deployed or retracted landing gear, and swinging wings like the real F-14. Measures 5.25”l with a 5.25” wingspan at 1:144 scale.

  • Features a high-quality weathered paint scheme, etched panel lines and pad printed decals that reflect the “Felix 100” VF-31 livery.
  • Antennas, reflective lights, and surface details have been crafted to replicate the real F-14D Tomcat.
  • Includes optional retracted or deployed landing gear, swinging wings, and opening canopy.
  • Features a full set of attachable weaponry, including AIM-54 Pheonix and AIM-9 Sidewinder air-to-air missiles, a quartet of guided bombs, fuel tanks, and targeting pod.
